Partner
Jerrold (Jerry) Mayster, a founding
partner, is Chairman of the firm and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
He practices law in the real estate area. Mr. Mayster has substantial experience
representing a broad range of both privately and publicly held businesses and
individuals in the real estate tax assessment appeal process.
Mr. Mayster received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University, a JD
from DePaul University and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1972. He
is currently a Member ISBA State and Local Taxation Committee and serves as
Chairman of Chicago Bar Association State and Local Property Taxation Committee.
Partner
Frederick (Fred) Chaimson, is a founding partner and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He
practices law in the real estate area. Mr Chaimson has extensive experience with
clients in a wide variety of industries and residential property owners.
Mr. Chaimson received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from University
of Wisconsin, a JD from Northwestern University and was admitted to the Illinois
State Bar in 1972. He is currently a Member of the ABA Entertainment Law Section,
and Trust, Real Estate & Probate Sections and Member ISBA State and Local
Taxation Committee.
Paralegal
Margaret Tuttle, is a Paralegal in the firm. Her focus is on industrial and commercial real estate tax appeals. Ms.Tuttle joined the Firm in 1996 upon completing Roosevelt University’s Paralegal Studies Program.
Legal Assistant
Rachel Vickner, is a Legal Assistant in the Firm. Her focus is on residential real estate tax appeals. Ms. Vickner joined the Firm in 1997 upon her graduation from Fox Business College.
Legal Assistant
Lia Ewell, is a Legal Assistant in the Firm. Her focus is on the litigation of real estate tax assessments in the Circuit Court of Cook County and State of Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board. Ms. Ewell graduated from Fox Business College in 1997 and joined the Firm in May, 2007.
Legal Secretary
Windy Washington, is the Legal Secretary in the Firm and performs client interface, data management, and administrative functions applicable to various aspects of the real estate tax appeal process. Ms. Washington attended Robert Morris College in the Administrative Assistant Program.
